As I continue to develop as a musician, I find myself thinking more and more about music—not just in the act of performing, but across the many areas it touches.

When I call myself a musician, I’m referring to something broader: performer, composer, pianist, content creator, and teacher—all under one umbrella. And even that doesn’t fully capture it, as it naturally extends into areas like music theory, history, and the many ways we come to understand and interact with music over time.

Because of this, my relationship with music has never felt confined to a single path. Each area informs the others. Performance shapes interpretation, composition deepens understanding, improvisation builds intuition, and teaching forces clarity. Over time, these experiences begin to overlap, reinforcing one another and gradually reshaping how I think about both music and the process of learning it.

This section of the site is a place for those thoughts.

It is dedicated to exploring the many facets that shape my perspective, identity, and development as a musician. Not just what we do, but how we approach it, how we think about it, and how those approaches evolve over time.

Some pieces will be practical—approaches to practice, technique, and musical development. Others will be more reflective, exploring personal experiences alongside broader ideas about learning, interpretation, and the role of music in our lives. In many cases, the two will overlap, as practical development and deeper understanding are rarely separate.

While much of my work centers around the piano, the ideas themselves are not limited to any one instrument. At their core, they are about musicianship—about developing control, awareness, and a deeper connection to the music we create.
